Yarra Ranges Council is engaging with our community over the course of this year to gain community input into the development of the Council’s next Council Plan, Asset Plan, Community Vision, and 10-year Financial Plan.
What is the role of the community panel?
The role of the Community Deliberative Panel is to discuss, debate and form recommendations on some of the difficult issues that Council need to resolve to achieve the Community Vision. We are seeking expressions of interest from the community to form this deliberative panel which will consist of approximately 30-40 members who reflect the diversity of the Yarra Ranges community.
Time commitment:
If selected, you will be required to attend a meet and greet half day session and 3 full day workshops located at the Yarra Ranges Civic Centre in Lilydale. All sessions will be hosted on Saturdays between June and August.
